On March 3, the Customs Department at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport in Chandigarh seized 18 kg of gold being brought in a flight coming from Dubai to Chandigarh. In this matter, the Customs Department has started investigation by registering a case against the unknown.
According to the information, the Customs Department had received information that gold was being brought in an Indigo flight coming from Dubai to Chandigarh. Acting on this information, the department’s team recovered 18 gold bricks of one kg each sealed in a packet. After this, the department has started action by seizing the gold bricks. According to sources, the team of the Customs Department has also raided several places in Khanna during the day regarding this matter.
