The summer season has knocked in Punjab and Haryana. A sudden rise in morning and night temperatures has been recorded. In general, the minimum temperature of many cities of Punjab and Haryana is running above four to nine degrees Celsius. Although there is a possibility of light rain at some places in both the states on Tuesday, but this will not make any significant difference in the temperature.
The Meteorological Department has predicted a rapid rise in temperature in the coming days. According to the information, the minimum temperature of Guru’s city Amritsar in Punjab reached 16.4 and that of Ambala reached 15.2 degree Celsius. In Punjab and Haryana, the minimum temperature on Monday was several notches above normal.
Amritsar recorded a minimum temperature of 16.4 degrees Celsius, nine notches above normal, according to the Met department. At the same time, Ludhiana’s minimum temperature was 14.8 degrees Celsius, which was six notches above normal. Patiala recorded a minimum temperature of 14.8 degrees Celsius, five notches above normal, while Pathankot recorded a minimum temperature of 15.4 degrees Celsius. Bathinda recorded a minimum temperature of 11.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal. Faridkot and Gurdaspur recorded minimum temperatures of 14.6 and 12 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Chandigarh recorded a minimum temperature of 14.6 degrees Celsius, five notches above normal. In Haryana, Ambala recorded a minimum temperature of 15.2 degrees Celsius, five notches above normal, while Hisar recorded a minimum temperature of 13.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal.
Karnal recorded a minimum temperature of 11.2 degrees Celsius, while Narnaul recorded a minimum temperature of 12.1 degrees Celsius, four notches above normal. Rohtak, Bhiwani and Sirsa recorded minimum temperatures of 15.4, 13.7 and 14.8 degrees Celsius, respectively.
