Due to non-availability of extension to 1338 temporary schools of Haryana this year, about 60 thousand children of 10th and 12th have not been able to fill the board examination form. Despite being regular students, parents and school administrators are worried about whether these children will have papers or not. The state government has been giving extension of one year to temporary recognized schools every year but this year the recognition was not extended. Due to which the schools could not take affiliation from the Board of Education, due to which the registration and examination forms of the 10th and 12th classes of the children could not be filled.
State President of Private School Association Satyawan Kundu said that online admissions have been done on the MIS portal of the schools, sports funds have also been deposited by the children in the education department. Regarding filling the examination form, the board chairman says that every year affiliation is given to temporary schools only after getting permission from the education department. The list of provisional recognized schools for the session 2022-23 has not been received from the School Education Department for affiliation. The board is unable to get the forms filled by the children of these schools.
Kundu has demanded from the Chief Minister Manohar Lal that showing generosity, he should give extension to 1338 temporary schools so that the children can appear in the board exams. The school has also gone to the High Court, the matter will be heard in the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday.
