There has been a big disclosure in the famous Naib Tehsildar recruitment scam. The deal for this post was done for Rs 20 lakh each. Immediately after joining the post of Naib Tehsildar, the cheating candidate had to pay this amount to the gang. In this case, five candidates who secured rank in the examination have been arrested by the police.

Now many more candidates are on the radar of the police. Including them in the investigation, their academic records are being checked as well as inquiries etc. are being done. Confirming this, DSP Ghannour Raghbir Singh said that the investigation is still at a very crucial stage. Not much can be disclosed in this case, but there may be some more arrests soon.

A special team has been constituted to probe the scam. So far 11 accused have been arrested in the case. Of these, six are gang members copying with the help of electronic devices and five are candidates. The candidates include Balraj Singh, who got the second rank, Lovepreet Singh, who got the 12th rank, Varinderpal Choudhary, who got the 21st rank, Baldeep Singh, who got the fourth rank, and Sunita, who got the fifth rank.

The gang used to provide equipment for copying

The gang used to provide GSM devices to the candidates who came to give papers. Small Bluetooth ear buds were given for easy connectivity by inserting a SIM card in it. Candidates usually carry these GSM devices by hiding them in shoes, socks etc. Through them copying was done in the paper. So far seven mini bluetooth ear buds, 12 mobiles, one laptop, two pen drives and 11 GSM devices have been recovered from this gang.
