The Center has provided X-category CRPF security to four Punjab BJP leaders. According to government sources, security cover has been provided to former ministers Balbir Singh Sidhu and Gurpreet Singh Kangar as well as former MLAs Jagdeep Singh Nakai and Amarjeet Singh Tikka.
