  • January 14, 2017: Amit Sharma, the campaign manager of Shri Hindu Takht, was shot dead by motorcycle-borne assailants in Ludhiana.
  • February 2017: Father-son Satpal and Ramesh, followers of Dera Sacha Sauda, ​​were murdered by two assailants in Khanna.
  • RSS leader Ravinder Gosain was shot dead by bike riders outside his house on 17 October 2017.
  • On 23 April 2017 at Lalheri Road Chowk in Khanna, Khanna Halka Pradhan of Shiv Sena Punjab, Durga Gupta was shot dead by bike-borne assailants.
