A case of cheating of 41 thousand 700 rupees has come to light with a jeweler of Manimajra by pretending to transfer money from Google Pay. The accused fled before the jewelers realized the fraud. Manimajra police station has registered a case and started searching for the accused.
Brijesh Kumar, a jeweler who shopped at Manimajra’s Samadhi Gate market, told the police in a complaint that two people came to his shop. Preferred one gold ring and one pair each. Its price became Rs 41,700. The accused told them that they had made the payment through Google Pay. When the amount was not credited to the complainant jeweler’s account for a long time, he complained to the police.
