Expansion
Northern Railway has decided to run 20 pairs of festival special trains in the first phase. These include trains on both the up and down sides. These trains will be seen running on the track from next month. The timetable, halt station, day, date and number of trips have been fixed for running these trains. For this, a proposal has been sent to all the railway divisions to run special trains, which includes every small and big information related to the operation of trains.
With the running of these trains, there will be less congestion in the regular trains and there will be a big relief for the common passengers as well as the migrants going to other states on festive days. Usually, it is difficult to get a seat in the trains during the festive season, but with the introduction of these trains, it will be easy for the passengers to get the confirmed tickets.
These festival special trains will start
- 01672-01671 Anand Vihar-Katra-Anand Vihar (17 October to 10 November and 18 October to 11 November) 08-08 rounds
- 01654-01653 Katra-Varanasi-Katra (02 October to 13 November and 04 October to 15 November) 07-07 rounds
- 01674-01673 Delhi-Varanasi-Delhi (18 October to 11 November and 19 October to 22 November) 11-11 rounds
- 01656-01655 Chandigarh-Gorakhpur-Chandigarh (20 October to 10 November and 21 October to 11 November) 04-04 trips
